The Jr. Colts have experienced volunteers and coaches that are re-trained every year to offer the best and safest programs for your children. Our program has taken a leadership role in youth football by requiring all coaches to be both USA Football Heads Up Certified and Positive Coaching Alliance Certified. In addition, the program requires all coaches who will be working with your kids to pass a criminal background check.

If you would like to volunteer for the Jr. Colts, please sign up on line and a board member will contact you.

Background Checks include the following:

·         SSN Verification and Address History

·         National Criminal Database Search

·         National Sex Offender Search

·         Re-verification of criminal records

·         Verification for Alias Names

Volunteer Descriptions include, but are not limited to:

•             Head Coach

•             Assistant Coaches

•             Business Managers

•             Trainers

•             Equipment Manager

•             Park-Rock Coordinator

Other opportunities:

Game Day Coordinator:
Responsible for home game setup and breakdown of the field.

Fundraiser Coordinator:  
Responsible for identifying, implementing, and managing fundraising opportunities/activities.

Banquet Coordinator:
Plan, organize, and coordinate support for annual banquet.

Work the chains (yard markers) and mark ball for home games. Requires three people per game.

Take photos during games and events and post to the site.

Take videos of games and post to Hudl site for coaches use.

Scoreboard and Clock Operator:
Responsible  for operating the scoreboard and clock during home games.

Announce player names and try not to be too biased!
